Installation / Placement Notes: Some
bedrooms will not accommodate the Hidden Reflections unit due to headboard
heights, An overly high or low mattress, ceiling fans and light fixtures that
may alter unit clearance.
Basic Space Requirements: If you ceiling
is clear of fans and lights out to 52 inches from the headboard wall, Your
headboard is not higher than 59 inches and your mattress top height is between
20 - 33 inches from the floor,: The hidden Reflections should work for you. If
you question whether it will fit in your room: Email us a picture of the bed
area with some measurements and we will tell you.
Top of Mattress to Unit bottom The
dimension from the top of the mattress to the unit bottom edge is best at
approximately 26 inches: This allows for the mirrors to reflect
properly and provide ample head clearance. If the unit is raised from that
point: The side mirrors will not function as well. Since mattress / bed heights
vary: This dimension should be checked using the layout below (+/- a few inches
is fine). If the mattress height is VERY low ( below 20 in ) : and the 26 in.
mattress/unit distance is maintained: you will bump your head coming on
to the bed from the side ( not recommended ). If the mattress is high
over 33in): the unit will not provide the 52 in. head clearance from the bed
recommended and bump your head on an eight foot ceiling.
